Getting Started

Download the Doculi plugin ZIP, then in wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, click “Install Now,” and press “Activate” when prompted. If you install from wordpress.org once listed, you can also search “Doculi” on the Add Plugins screen and click Install → Activate.

Doculi depends on Automattic’s Action Scheduler plugin. Install or activate Action Scheduler first so Doculi’s job queue can run safely on your site.

Once the dependency is active you can enter your Doculi license key, connect your Google account via OAuth, and start selecting Docs directly inside WordPress. Each import lets you route content into posts, pages, or any custom post type you support, and Doculi stores the result as a draft so your editors can review before publishing.

All background work—media fetching, block assembly, and apply runs—is visible in the Action Scheduler screen. Doculi uses that queue because it’s the standard, battle-tested way to process jobs without overloading your hosting, ensuring every page is created reliably even on shared environments.
